The Windy Hill community, a repeat customer, needed a new wastewater treatment plant that mirrored the quality and efficiency of a previous project we implemented for them. The initial requirement was to start with a capacity of 120,000 GPD, with provisions for future expansions to ultimately reach 400,000 GPD. The challenge was to design a system that could efficiently scale up in phases without disrupting community services, accommodating growth seamlessly and sustainably with the restricted space.
reUse designed an MBR system to meet these specific needs with a fully scalable, phased approach. The plant was built with all tankage ready for full buildout, beginning with a current processing capacity of 120,000 GPD in Phase 1. Future phases are planned to increase the capacity, ensuring the plant can grow with the community’s needs while maintaining the high standards of service and efficiency expected by the client. This strategy effectively future-proofs the community’s wastewater management system, offering scalability and robustness.
