Empowering Connections: Ladies in Land Visit reUse’s MBR Wastewater Facility

At reUse Innovations, we believe that great ideas and partnerships often begin with a conversation—and there’s no better place to have that conversation than at the source.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting the Ladies in Land San Antonio group for a visit to our operational Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) wastewater treatment plant. This dynamic group of professionals represents some of the most forward-thinking minds in land development, planning, and real estate. Their visit provided an excellent opportunity to showcase our technology and demonstrate what sets the reUse system apart.

Why Seeing It in Action Matters

While technical brochures and presentations can explain a system’s specifications, there’s something uniquely powerful about seeing it in action. Walking through a fully operational facility allowed our guests to experience:

  • The compact footprint of our MBR system, which requires only 25% of the space of conventional treatment plants
  • The superior effluent quality, exceeding state requirements and ready for reuse applications- and they got to see our C.O.O drink the water!
  • Our purpose-driven design, which supports phased developments, efficient operations, and high-strength wastewater treatment
  • The streamlined construction and modular assembly, which reduce installation time and minimize on-site disruption

By bringing the Ladies in Land on site, we were able to connect technology with real-world application—showing how sustainable wastewater treatment can be both elegant and effective.

Bridging Industries, Building the Future

Our time with the group wasn’t just about the system—it was about building bridges. Conversations throughout the tour opened the door to new collaborations and a shared understanding of how infrastructure and land development must evolve together to meet the needs of our growing communities.

We extend our sincere thanks to Erica Sinner for helping make this visit possible, and to everyone from Ladies in Land for your interest, insights, and engagement.

At reUse, we’re committed to rethinking wastewater—and showing others just how impactful that shift can be. We look forward to many more visits, discussions, and partnerships that challenge the status quo and shape the future of water.
